Kruh – Portret demonstrace, Republica Ceha / 2009 / 62 min
regia: Tereza Reichova
VO ceha / subtitrari in romana

17 noiembrie 2008. Litvinov, Republica Ceha.

Little Lies (regia: William Lee / 53 min.)
Little Lies este despre minciuni ascunse si lucruri nespuse. In vreme ce bunicul, fiul si nepotul se poarta precaut unul cu celalalt in casa darapanata de langa lac, indicii despre trecuturile lor si cauzele durerilor sunt dezvaluite rand pe rand.

Black Day (regia: Tomas Saska / 18 min.)
O zi neagra din viata a trei prieteni, fosti proletari.

Charmers (regia: Gasper Snuderl / 18 min.)
Charmers spune povestea unui tanar cuplu vietnamez ce locuieste in Praga.

ENGLISH VERSION

The Circle – a portrait of a demonstration
The 17th of November, 2008. Litvinov, Czech Republic. A demonstration of the Workers’ Party is followed by an counter-demonstration held by the Romani people. The police and the local authorities are at the scene and are trying to manage a pretty tense situation, having to resort to arrests. A capital moment for the history of Litvinov emerges when the locals join the far right demonstration, counter to the Romani. The author of the documentary, who also captured the event on tape, gathers participants from all the parts involved in the conflict, including journalists and NGO’s officials, confronting testimonials with the images caught on camera, in the hope of finding out the truth behind the scenes.
