O singura fraza i-a schimbat viata Silviei. Acum are la dispozitie doar o zi pentru a-si recupera dragostea. De aici incepe un adevarat traseu de montaigne-russe prin Praga contemporana.
Restart este un film modern, cu imagini rafinate, filmat prin cluburile din Praga. Restart zice povestea catorva tineri care in fiecare seara se scufunda in costume colorate, muzica asurzitoare si alcool. Cu toate ca la prima vedere par fara nici o grija, cu totii sunt fragili, vulnerabili si singuri.
Stilul vizual original al filmului este rezultatul cooperarii dintre debutantul ceh Julius Sevcik si cameramanul finlandez Kasimir Lehto. Imaginile expresive filmate exclusiv din mana, conduc spectatorul direct in pielea protagonistului. Sirul povestii este accelerat sau decelerat de efecte de fast si slow motion. Coloana sonora a filmului include numele cele mai celebre de pe scena electronica ceheasca: Mojmir Papalescu and the Nihilists, Ecson Waldes, dar mai ales compozitii ale grupului Khoiba sau muzica de scena semnata Filip Misek.
Cu Restart, Centrul Ceh din Bucuresti introduce a noua serie de filme de debut ale unor regizori cehi tineri.

A single sentence forever changed young Sylvia´s life. Now, she has only one day to win her love back. A roller-coaster ride though contemporary Prague begins.
Restart is a modern, visually refined movie, set in Prague´s clubbing scene. It tells the story of several young people, immersed each and every night in a world of colorful costumes, loud music, alcohol and changing partners. It is about seemingly carefree people, yet fragile, vulnerable and lonely underneath
The original visual style of the film is the result of a co-operation between the Czech debut director Julius Sevcik and the Finnish cameraman Kasimir Lehto. Expressive and artfully composed pictures pull the viewer into the very heart of the main protagonist. The whole film has been shot with a hand-held camera, the story being told with the help of many sequences in quick and slow motion. The soundtrack presents the best of the Czech electronic music scene – songs by Mojmir Papalescu and the Nihilists, Ecson Waldes, but foremost compositions by the group Khoiba and the scenic music of Filip Misek.
With Restart, the Czech Centre Bucharest introduces a new series of film debutes from interesting young Czech irectors
