The Tadpole, the Rabbit and the Holy Ghost

Village B.

ENGLISH VERSION
The Tadpole, the Rabbit and the Holy Ghost
For four years, the priest Libor Halík has been singing psalms outside the maternity hospital in Brno. This is his everyday protest against abortions. He is convinced that Czech people prefer laziness to hard-working Christian love, that abortion is murder, homosexuality is perversion, and atheism is a deadly sin. Awarded at IDFF Jihlava 07 as the best Audience film.

Village B.
A picture about Blsany – the smallest village of the world, located in Central Bohemia, hosting a premier league soccer team – consists of two different views. One of them is the view of the documentarists, the other one is the view of Mr. Triska, an amateur film producer. Mr. Triska also becomes our guide through the mysterious world of the village that has been affected by two completely different regimes of existence. The nostalgia of a few advantages of the socialist regime meets with the reflections of the present consumption society.

Vinegar (JAZZ WAR)
The director Vít Klusák is shooting a film about his father, the well-known composer Emil Viklický, but the latter wants nothing to do with it. Therefore the director places a double in the role of his father, whom he finds through an advertisement. Nonetheless Klusak does not know his real father personally, but only meets him (or fails to meet him) for the second time in his life while filming…
