RECICLAREA. CAND? CE? CUM?

Reciclarea deseurilor are un potential important in reducerea poluarii. Prin reciclare, atat consumul de resurse cat si poluarea componentelor de mediu pot fi reduse cu procente semnificative. In statele membre ale Uniunii Europene nivelurile de reciclare variaza intre 28% si 53% pentru hartie si carton (media in UE este de 49,6%) si intre 21% si 70% pentru sticla. In momentul de fata, aproximativ 90% din deseurile municipale ajung in locuri speciale de depozitare. La scara europeana, doar 33% din deseuri sunt reciclate sau compostate.

ENGLISH VERSION

One of the ways in which we could reduce the pollution is to recycle the waste. Through recycling, we would also reduce the consume of our natural resources. In the countries members of the European Union, the recycling varies between 28% and 53% for paper and between 21 % and 70% for glass. Approximately 90% of the municipal waste gets into special deposit places. In Europe only 33% of this waste is recycled in some way.
