A Bell at the Start, a Bell at the End
In Cehia, toata lumea peste o anumita varsta isi aduce aminte de Arabela. Serialul lui Milos Macourek si Vaclav Vorlicek a marcat generatii intregi de copii si adulti din centrul si estul Europei… si nici Romania n-a facut exceptie.
Arabela imbina doua lumi, cea reala si cea a basmelor, combinand situatii dramatice cu situatii comice, efecte speciale cu realitatea societatii din anii 70. Printesa Arabela, fata Regelui Fairy scapa la timp de razbunarea vrajitorului Rumburak si fuge din lumea basmelor. In lumea reala il intalneste pe Petr Majer de care se indragosteste. Aventuri pline de vraji, inelul fermecat, un glob de cristal, o valiza zburatoare si alte obiecte vrajite o asteapta pe Arabela in drumul ei spre “au trait fericiti pana la adanci batraneti”

ENGLISH VERSION
Everybody from certain age in the Czech Republic knows Arabela. The TV Serie by Milos Macourek and Vaclav Vorlicek marked whole generation of children and adults in eastern Europe and Germany, who was the coproducer of the serie. It seems that also for many Romanians stays Arabela unforgetable.
Arabela brings the unexpectable mix of two worlds, ours and the world of fairy tales, combining of dramatical and comical situations, special effects and touch of daily problems of the 70’s. Princess Arabela, the daughter of the Fairy King escapes before the revenge of a cunning and conceitful magician Rumburak and leaves the world of fairy tales. She meets Petr Majer in the world of ours and falls in love with him. Spells, a magic ring, the bowl of seeing, a flying suitcase and magic things help her to come to a happy end.
