În fiecare an, sute de mașini tunate participă la întâlniri masive. Aerodromuri abandonate sau locuri de parcare enorme devin scene pentru întâlniri ale entuziaștilor care și-au dedicat viețile automobilelor – de la mașini sport scumpe până la epave vechi. Corpuri suple ondulându-se pe ritmul muzicii electronice, lumini de neon și vuietul motoarelor care nu te lasă să dormi, plus droguri, alcool și sex – toate fac parte din atmosfera acestor evenimente.
Unii oameni investesc toți banii lor în mașini și pierd sute de ore anual ca să le facă. Ce stă în spatele dragostei pentru mașini? Acest documentar observațional, realizat într-o manieră netradițională – oferind un portret puternic al unui ceh pentru care mașina este cel mai bun prieten – înceacă să răspundă la această întrebare.
Film câștigător al Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival. Proiecția este în prezența regizorului Martin Dušek.

Every year, thousands of “tricked-out” cars participate in massive tuning meets. Abandoned airfields, enormous parking lots, or remote campsites become the stage for gatherings of enthusiasts who have devoted their lives to fixing up their beloved automobiles – everything from expensive sports cars to old and dilapidated wrecks. Supple bodies undulating to the rhythms of electronic music, glaring neon lights on the undercarriage, and the roar of engines that won’t let you sleep. Plus drugs, alcohol, sex and erotica wherever you look – all heightening the event’s debauched atmosphere.
Some people, hailing in general from rural areas, invest all their money into their cars and spend hundreds of hours every year fixing them up. What magic underlies this curious love of machines? This untraditional observational documentary – a self-contained, strongly atmospheric portrait of a Czech guy whose best friend is his car – tries to find the answer.
