Povestea unui puginist trist, a prietenilor singuratici si a inamicilor. O productie despre abandon, lipsa sperantei si inabilitatea de a recladi viata. Doar cand cineva isi asuma suferinta, poate arata, pentru prima data, ca sta pe picioarele sale.
Rocky este un erou. Poate nu este foarte inteligent, dar are suflet si un vis maret. Si crede in visul sau. Este increzator ca se va ridica si va invinge. Deci hai in ring sa primesti un pumn. Si inca unul, si in ca unul si inca unul…

Vocile personajelor apartin unor celebrii actori de teatru si film. Vizual, filmul are tot felul de detalii brutale, si prezinta translatii bruste intre scene revoltatoare si scene de dragoste… ca in viata reala.

CAKES AND PUPPETS
Buchty a loutky / Cakes and Puppets / – an independent alternative puppet theatre company, performing for children as well as adults. The company was established in 1991 by graduates of the puppet department of the FAMU academy in Prague. Since that time, the company has more than 19 production titles for children and more than 19 premieres for adults in their repertoire. They also have many non-traditional theatre projects, specific creative activities and films. In their own unusual ways, Buchty a loutky create unique theatre poetics; classic titles and their own original script work with an overview, a non-interchangeable sense of humour, and a personal emphasis for the creative elements of the production (a combination of old toys, rusted iron as well as the most recent technology); the productions most often contain original music that has been composed specifically for the production, and most productions contain live musical accompaniment.

A puppet film for adults. A tribute to garbage and trashy stories.
The voices of the puppets belong to renowned Czech film and theatre actors. The film is filled of brutal details, revolting scenes alternating with affectionate ones… just like in real life.
THE LOSERS
You will see the tale of a sad boxer, his lonely friends and enemies – a production about abandoned hopelessness and the inability to get back on one´s feet. Only when one is comfortable with suffering, he can then show, for the first time, that he can stand.
Rocky is a hero. He is perhaps not very intelligent, but he has a heart and he has a righteous dream. And he believes in it. He is confident that he will rise up and win. So, come to the ring, and have another. And yet another, and another and another…
