La vârsta de 40 de ani, a produs deja peste 45.000 de lucrări. Le expune în spațiul public, pe străzi, în piețe, de unde oricine le poate colecta. Distrugându-și propria artă, el sfidează galeriile, târgurile de artă și muzeele. Își observă creația ieșind cu exuberanță de sub control, cu o mare satisfacție atât pentru el cât și pentru public. Într-un mediu social în care artiștii se zbat pentru a obține atenție și recunoaștere, Eisenberger întreabă din nou și din nou „Ce înseamnă de fapt libertatea artistică? Și are aceasta într-adevăr nevoie de artiști?”.

Art is merely a label of no relevance according to the artist Christian Eisenberger. At the age of 40 he has created over 45.000 works. He places them in the public space, on streets and squares, where anyone could gather them up. He defies galleries, art fairs and museums by destroying his own pieces. He observes his art exuberantly eluding all control, and that with great pleasure and surprise for both his audience and himself. In a milieu that desperately struggles for attention and recognition, Eisenberger again and again asks, “What really constitutes artistic freedom? And does it require artists at all?”
