Festivalul de film documentar dedicat drepturilor omului, One World Romania ajunge la cea de-a 3-a editie, ce va avea loc între 17 şi 22 martie în Bucuresti.
Creat în primii doi ani de Centrul Ceh, în 2010 festivalul este organizat de acesta impreuna cu nou fondata asociatie ONE WORLD ROMANIA.
Evenimentul de deschidere va avea loc la Ateneul Roman, pe 17 martie, incepand cu ora 19h00. In cadrul acestui eveniment va canta trupa Urma, iar intrarea va fi libera pe baza unei invitatii obtinute anterior. De asemenea, organizatorii si invitatii speciali vor tine cateva discursuri scurte, proiectandu-se totodata parte a trailerelor filmelor selectate.
In mod traditional deja, festivalul se afla sub patronajul fostului presedinte al Republicii Cehe, Vaclav Havel. Ca si in editiile trecute, festivalul isi propune acelasi lucru: sa prezinte cat mai multe teme relevante prin filme de buna calitate, care sa ajunga la cat mai multi tineri. Iar astfel sa ajute la crearea unei comunitati active ce isi doreste sa cunoasca si sa se implice in problemele cu care se confrunta ceilalti, sub motto-ul: ALEGE SA-TI PESE!

The One World Romania Documentary Film Festival on Human Rights will be held March 17th – 22nd at its 3-rd edition in Bucharest. Created in the first 2 years by the Czech Centre, in 2010 the festival will be organized by the newly founded ONE WORLD ROMANIA association together with the Czech Centre Bucharest.
The opening event will be held at the Romanian Athenaeum, on the 17th of March, starting 7 pm. with a festival inauguration, presentation and a concert of the Romanian band Urma. The patronage is traditionally held by Vaclav Havel, the former President of the Czech Republic. With this new edition of the festival, we stick to our goal: to bring many relevant topics presented in high quality documentary films to as many young people as possible. This way we hope that we can help build an active and participating community under the motto CHOOSE TO CARE.
