Festivalul de film documentar dedicat drepturilor omului / One World Romania / 17 – 22 martie

Azi, la festival avem povestea Liberiei in lupta pentru pace (Pray The Devil Back To Hell), batranei ce sunt discriminati dupa ce au muncit 40 de ani in acelasi loc (The Devil Hides In Doubt), romani imigranti din Paris ce ajung cersetori (Stella / proiectie speciala).

One World Romania / 17 – 22 martie / Cinema Eforie, Cinema Union, Cinema Elvira Popescu, Noul Cinematoraf al Regizorului Roman

Avem putini imigranti in Romania. Cand ne intalnim cu ei pe strazi, ne intrebam ce gandesc despre noi, care este motivul pentru care au venit aici. Oceanul Mare prezinta comunitatea chineza din Bucuresti si lumea prin ochii lor. Filmul este o alternativa tarziu in noapte, 22h00 la Cinema Union, in prezenta regizoarei Katharina Copony.
Atatea culori ca intr-un singur loc nu am mai vazut de mult. Haideti la spatiul Fair Trade de la Centrul Ceh de la 13h00 la 20h00 sa vedeti ce produse am adus din lumea intreaga. Handmade si fair.

ENGLISH VERSION

Today at the film festival you can watch Liberia’s story in its fight for peace (‘Pray The Devil Back To Hell’), elders discriminated after 40 years of work in the same place (‘The Devil Hides In Doubt’), Romanian immigrants who become beggars in Paris (‘Stella’ /special film screening).

One World Romania / 17 – 22 of March / Eforie Cinema Hall, Union Cinema Hall, Elvira Popescu Cinema Hall, Noul Cinematoraf al Regizorului Roman (the Cinema Hall located at MTR).

Jakub Hradilek came to Bucharest not by bike, like in the film ‘Auto*Mat’ in which he is a protagonist, but by plane. He is here to tell us about the impact of the urbanization and the solutions that we all have to diminish its effects. You are invited to watch this film at 6.30 pm, in Eforie Cinema Hall.
We have few immigrants in Romania. When we meet them in the streets we wonder what they are thinking about us, which is the reason why they are here. ‘Oceanul Mare’ is a film about the Chinese community in Bucharest and the world seen through their eyes. You can enjoy this movie late this evening, starting 10 pm, in Union Cinema Hall, and also have a word with its director Katharina Copony.
So many colors in one place as we have not seen for long. Come see the Fair Trade corner in the Czech Center, open daily between 1pm – 8pm. We are waiting for you with products from all over the world! All is handmade and all fair!
The daily program is still here: www.oneworld.ro and we are here for details.

Warm Regards,
The Festival
